Instagram Is Rolling Out Multiple Account Functionality

FINALLY.

As a digital editor, posting to Instagram is part of the job description. Before now, that meant signing out of my personal account in order to sign into the account for work, which is not only inconvenient but also a little anxiety-inducing—the ease with which I might accidentally post to the wrong account is all too scary a possibility. (Marie Claire's 572K followers do not need to see my latest selfie.)

Finally, Instagram is getting with the program and making our social media-addled lives just a little bit easier. With the latest update, the app is introducing a new feature that allows users to toggle between multiple accounts without logging in and out.

That's the good news. The bad news? The function is currently only rolling out for Android users, according to Android Police. So for the rest of us iPhone users… multi account struggles are (still) real. Fingers crossed the feature will be coming soon to an App Store update near you!
