I've often asserted my belief that women dress for other women most of the time. Of course, there are certain looks and styles that get my attention, or even arouse me whether a woman intends it or not.
"Aphrodisiac" attire varies from guy to guy. Personally, I like a woman's style to push my buttons with a gentle, subtle tap. I've never been into a bare look, or overwhelming cleavage.
The main things I look for:
- A little hint of what's to come
- Mystery...so my mind can do the rest
- Sophistication
Here are the looks and styles that turn me on the most:
Short Skirts
Obviously, a woman with a nice figure and great legs in a
short skirt, just above the knee, gets me going. I guess I like the idea of
pushing it up in the throes of passion.
Glasses
Glasses make a girl seem innocent and intelligent. I find
myself attracted to geeky girls from time to time.
Wearing Your Hair Up
I have this strange desire to take a woman's ensemble apart.
Undoing and undressing is fun (except for removing a woman's bra in the dark,
which is an exercise similar to long division I kind of know how to do it, it's
tedious, and while I'm doing it, I'm totally worried that the answer in the end
is going to be wrong).
Yes, "sex hair," tousled and textured, is hot. But I like the entire process: that first step when the girl takes down her hair and it flows gloriously in every direction, like freedom.
Professional Clothing
When a woman is all dressed up and put together, it's hot to think of taking all of that off. The business blouse and skirt are sophisticated and sexy.
Button Mastery
I do my best not to stare at cleavage, but sometimes I just
can't help it. And it's totally sexy (and unfair) when a woman
has a few of her top buttons undone so I can see just a little bit of
cleavage. It's a delicate balance
though, because like I said too much cleavage turns me off. The right amount
gives me a little hint, and leaves the right amount of mystery.
Button mastery can be accomplished with different articles of clothing, and buttons are much sexier than tight tube-toppish things to me. A business-ish blouse combined with button mastery is amazing.
On my annual beach trip with my buddies a few years back, I encountered the coolest feat of button mastery: a girl in a super-preppy oxford with the buttons low, showing just a bit of cleavage.
Lace/Colored/Ornate & Shapely Bras
One of the perks of growing up in a female-dominated
household was the day that the Victoria's Secret catalog arrived. All those
formative years of checking out that catalog introduced me to the sexiness of
fancy bras.
I love those bras that "enhance" shape, although (when all is said and done) they can be deceiving. But, by the time I have a girl's bra off, I'm so happy just to be there, I'm willing to live with the deception.
Nonsexy bras look so "functional." It's usually those white or flesh-colored ones that say: "Look, I'm just here to support, not to turn you on or arouse you. In fact, why don't you just back off and leave us alone?"
Didn't Make the Cut (these may be more common or assumed sexy items, but I don't agree)
Heels
Almost every sexy image out there includes heels, but they
don't get me going. Most of the time they look more painful than sexy.
Lingerie
Fancy bras are hot, but full-on lingerie ensembles don't
particularly excite me because it seems planned, and because I enjoy the
undressing phase before the lingerie level. Kind of sad but I'm intimidated when a woman is too confident in bed. And sexy lingerie seems confident.
Besides, by the time I get to the lingerie, I'm already aroused anyway. And some of that sexy lingerie is just too involved like those silk cape/robe things. They look a little too Transylvania-sheik.
Tube Tops/Midriffs
These can be cute, but not sexy because they show too much
skin too soon. Also, it's hard to pull off mysterious and sophisticated in
these types of tops.
Is it possible for guys to wear certain things or have a certain style that turns you on? What are your thoughts on my lists above, and do you ever wear certain things to turn a guy on? If so, what kinds of things/styles do you go with?
