British Soul Singer Tiana Major9 Shares Her Nighttime Skincare Routine
BRB, copying her DIY honey and oatmeal mask.
East Londoner Tiana Major9 has a sultry voice that'll make you feel all the feels. The British soul singer is inspired by both jazz and Lauryn Hill. You might have vibed to her single “Collide” featuring EarthGang in the background of Queen & Slim. The rising songstress is one to watch and take notes from, especially if you need colorful liner lewks to try as shown on her fire Insta feed, or some seriously stunning hair inspo, which the 24-year-old revealed she does herself on the latest episode of Masked and Answered. "I've been doing my own hair since I was eleven years old," she shares. "I learned how to braid, cornrow, twist, and do extensions."
The 24-year-old whipped up a homemade mask made of oatmeal and honey—two kitchen staples with glow-inducing skin benefits we can all use right about now. "Oatmeal is very good for inflamed and sensitive skin," she says. "Also, the honey is good for moisture. This mask is very soothing." She masks once a week and also indulges in a facial steamer to unwind.
Although hair is more of her thing, her nighttime regimen proves skincare is also not something she falls short on. Beginning with Clinique Take The Day Off ($30), she removes her makeup, then she cleanses with Caudalie Cleansing Milk ($28). "This is lovely," she says in reference to her cleanser. "It smells so good and is so gentle on my skin." After cleansing, she applies Caudalie's Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum ($49) and locks in the moisture with a layer of the brand's Vinosource SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer ($42) and Moisture Surge 96-Hour Eye Cream ($34) on top. She's also using Glossier's Priming Moisturizer Rich ($35) right now. For another whiff of hydration, she'll spritz some of Mario Badescu's Facial Spray ($12) on her skin.
For lip Care, she exfoliates with Fenty Beauty's Lip Scrub ($16). Then, swipes Glossier's Birthday Balm Dotcom ($12) on top. "She smelling like dessert for breakfast," the singer says describing the balm, laughing. At night, she sleeps with Clinique's Moisture Surge Overnight Mask ($36): "It's not too thick so my face doesn't feel heavy when I'm going to sleep, but it locks in all of the moisture." It's safe to say she's fully prepped for the best beauty sleep.
