Adele Used Her Brit Awards Speech as a Platform to Support Kesha
One more reason to adore her.
Adele just lent her voice to the growing number of actresses and musicians supporting Kesha. The "Hello" singer made a public show of solidarity while taking home the title of British Female Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards, and her speech is not to be missed by anyone who's similarly outraged on Kesha's behalf.
"I'd like to take a quick second to thank my management and my record label for embracing the fact that I'm a woman and being encouraged by it," Adele said. "And I'd also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha."

Kesha's in an ongoing legal battle with Sony over a contract that ties her to Dr. Luke, a man she alleges abused her both emotionally and sexually. A recent court ruling denied Kesha an injunction to record music outside of Sony, though Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff and music producer Zedd have both offered to help her create new material.
Kesha recently made a statement thanking both fans and celebs who have come forward, saying "I can't believe so many people all over the world took the time to show me support and love. Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful."
