Some, namely Karl Lagerfeld, have blamed Kim Kardashian's robbery on her own indiscretion. Turns out Kardashian herself shares that same feeling, which will deeply affect the direction of her professional and personal life going forward.

TMZ reports that Kardashian has changed her tune from "If you've got it, flaunt it" to "Material things mean nothing. It's not all about the money. It's not worth it," the latter being an indirect quote from a source speaking with the outlet. She'll also be taking a month off and reducing her social media postings, in both tone and frequency.

Sad that a traumatic incident should introduce a new, quieter Kim Kardashian—"quiet" being the antithesis of Kim Kardashian—but if there's anyone who can bounce back better than ever before, it's her.
