My mom and I both love Nordstrom. Whether we're looking for a new pair of shoes or an elevated basic to refresh our wardrobes, Nordy always has plenty of options. What's also interesting is that we both gravitate toward similar trends and items—ahem, modern classics—despite our age difference. (She's 63, and I'm 34.) Given that age has absolutely nothing to do with what you should or shouldn't wear, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that we share similar sartorial interests.
On that note, my mom sat down with me and scrolled through the Nordstrom site during a recent visit. We both then called out what we loved most. Below, you'll find a curation of the pieces that feel extra special to us due to their versatility and chicness.

And here are the coordinating shorts.
