Spring is, without a doubt, the trickiest season to dress for. Some days bring blazing hot weather, while other mornings are icy-cold. And, if you're lucky, some mornings bring with them a climate suitable for a lightweight jacket or decently chunky knit sweater for a touch of added warmth. Blake Lively, street style star, happened to step out on one of those perfectly in-between days wearing a green plaid sweater from Mango's sale section.
While Lively's exact pick is sold out, don't let that deter you from perusing the rest of the items on sale right now. In fact, the section is a treasure trove of transitional layering pieces, including a few cropped knits, a black puffy vest, and a tan-colored shawl that is begging to be packed away on vacation. Better yet, all of my personal favorite items are currently going for under $100, so consider this to be your own personal editor-approved shopping list for all things spring fashion.
And if you're feeling a little lost when it comes to cracking the transitional weather formula, think of it this way: you need to stock up on pieces that can make your summer dresses feel a little more cold-weather appropriate, but not so warm that you'll end up overheating by mid day. I personally love to eschew my black blazer for one that comes in a bright or pastel shade. It's all about playing with color in your closet and texture in your closet. Another failsafe 'fit would be a cropped cardigan with a pair of dark-wash jeans, which falls more in line with Lively's exact outfit.
Keep reading to check out a few of the highlights from the downright massive Mango sale. Or, shop the entire sale section to find pieces that will fit perfectly into your wardrobe this season.
While a quilted jacket seems very winter-y, this white option is lightweight enough to layer when the weather warms.
Chunky sweater-lovers, meet your new favorite springtime piece. This minty color is to die for, but it also comes in a mango orange shade.
If your parents are like mine, they were always telling you to pack a sweater for every family vacation. But I finally found a shawl that I actually like.
This puffy vest is less investment banker and more TikTok-famous fashion girl, if that's the vibe you're going for this season.
