I Swapped Regular Sunglasses for Light-Tint Versions Years Ago—and I've Never Looked Back

They're my everyday staple.

I've long been a fan of light-tint sunglasses. First purchased out of need due to my light sensitivity, they quickly became a staple in my daily repertoire. Not only do they limit my light exposure, they look subtly chic and help me feel pulled together for the day ahead (particularly if I'm tired, jetlagged, or just trying to hide my dark circles).

The pair I'm particularly in love with: my tried-and-true Jacques Marie Mage Dealan frames. They're a classic, channeling an era steeped in music and artistry: the '60s.

Like the celebrities who wear them, light-tint sunglasses evoke a sense of mystery and curiosity. Aside from the cool factor, they're practical, supporting my eyes whether it's cloudy, rainy, or bright out.
