If you're anything like us, you're counting the minutes until the second season of Girls premieres on HBO this Sunday, but last night in New York, a select group of lucky folks got a sneak peek at the newest episode. The ladies — who we now know as Jessa, Marnie, Hannah, and Shoshanna — all took the unspoken NYC "all black" dress code very seriously, but they all brought a little something of their own to the red carpet, as young actresses are wont to do.
Jemima Kirke, whose personal style often mirrors that of her bohemian character Jessa, chose a vintage black dress from her mother's West Village vintage store, Geminola. The rest of the girls took the high-fashion route: Allison Williams in an Altuzarra dress, Lena Dunham in (an incredible) Valentino jumpsuit, and Zosia Mamet in a decidedly un-Shoshanna ruffled dress by Lanvin. Also, we think her neon red lip is perfection.
