Here's the Gritty 'Full House' Cop Reboot You Didn't Know You Needed

The guys play "adult roommate detectives who've seen a little bit too much."

Fuller House only premiered less than a week ago, but already the men of the show are working on a new spin-off: Full House Nights, which follows Danny Tanner, Uncle Jesse, and Uncle Joey as they solve crimes on the "mean streets of San Francisco." Technically this grittier of the edition of the show is just a sketch from The Late Show, but given the fact that no network ever met a melancholic cop show it didn't like, the chances of it getting picked up for real seem high.

"We play adult roommate detectives who've seen a little bit too much," Dave Coulier says, in explanation of the show's plot, which revolves around them roughing up a drug dealer played by Stephen Colbert. There's also a True Detective-esque opening sequence complete with majestic overhead shots of San Francisco and close-ups of eyes, and a misplaced Bullwinkle impression from Uncle Joey (the impressionist cop, to Danny and Jesse's good cop and bad cop). Will they close the case? It doesn't matter, so long as Uncle Jesse keeps wearing leather jackets.
