An Ode to Lily Collins and Her Eyebrows

From one bushy-browed fangirl to another.

Share

On the morning of her 25th birthday, we thought it was appropriate to celebrate all things Lily Collins... and one very special thing in particular: her eyebrows. It's no secret that big brows are in and while Cara Delevingne has come out on top in that category, Lily Collins is definitely closing in on her. Those brows even have their own Twitter account. Let's get down to business with the most gorgeous pics of our birthday girl's bushy accessories and easy (but vital) tips on how to groom and grow:

1. Find the right powder shade. This is a make or break situation! Too red, too ashy, or too anything just won't do. If you find the right hue for your skin tone and hair color combo, the rest is a cake walk. Cool tones should air on the ashier side, while golden hues can work with warmer colors.

2. Brush up. Invest in an eyebrow brush and spooly so you're brows will always look well-kept, even on the go.

3. Don't over-tweeze. This sounds obvious, but sometimes it's hard to tell when you're doing too much. Our advice? Leave the plucking to the pros.
