Travel Light with Tory Burch

Special Offer

Although Tory Burch is best known as a designer, it may be her role as mother that inspired her to team up with the Light One Little Candle Foundation and create her “Tory Tote.”

Both functional and chic, a percentage of proceeds from the limited edition bag go to Light One Little Candle, an organization dedicated to helping families facing cancer bond with their children.

Joelle Pauporte, a mother herself, started Light One Little Candle Foundation while she was battling cancer and feeling too weak to do anything more than read to her young daughter. Because of lowered immunity, cancer patients are often unable to take out books from the library.

The foundation addresses this problem by providing new copies of classic children’s books to several hospitals and counseling organizations in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and California. The goal is to provide patients with a means of spending time with their children.

The Light One Little Candle “Tory Tote” is an orchid-pink printed canvas bag with metallic silver trim and a colorful batik lining with bursts of raspberry, white, taupe and tangerine. At $195, the same price as her ubiquitous Reva ballet flats, the special-edition bag will keep you looking stylish and those in need supplied with all of the classics — from Winnie the Pooh to The Velveteen Rabbit. Available at toryburch.com.
