Hark! There's new important evidence that Adele (opens in new tab) is a mere mortal like the rest of us! Turns out a) she shops at H&M, and b) her credit card totally got declined there. In other words, Adele = everyone.
While performing at San Jose's SAP Center on July 31, the powerhouse singer took a break between ballads to tell everyone (opens in new tab) about her H&M struggles.
"I went to H&M and my card got declined. Oh my days, pretty embarrassing. Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified."
Oh my days indeed.
Adele also regaled the audience with her love and adoration for Target, saying "They have everything! Literally I could spent $100 on something I do not need. I never need anything I buy at Target, but it's amazing."
This is like Beyoncé and Red Lobster all over again.
