Matthew Perry Finally Opens Up About Rumors That the 'Friends' Cast Slept Together
*grabs popcorn*
Remember when Andy Cohen asked the Friends cast about the rumored "no sex" contract between them? And David Schwimmer volunteered that even *if* such a contract existed, it "was broken." And then everything got super awkward and all clips of the conversation were scrubbed from the internet? Yeah, well now Matthew Perry is weighing in.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, Cohen asked Perry to clear things up, and he quickly shut down Schwimmer's implication that the cast was sleeping with each other. To quote: "I don't know who he was referring to. I think there was no sex between any of them, or I was really missing something. I did not [partake]."
Huh. Disappointing, tbh.
In other news, Perry also revealed that Chandler had a whole plot line that got axed–thanks to the fact that Matthew himself wasn't a fan. "There was a storyline on Friends where Chandler went to a male strip joint because he really liked the sandwiches," he said. "I called up and said, 'Let's not do this one.'"
Sounds hilarious, but fine, have it your way Matthew Perry.
