FAQs
Does Ouidad offer free shipping?
Yes, Ouidad offers free standard shipping (FedEx Ground) on orders of $65+. Below that, standard shipping is $7.95, FedEx 2-Day is $17.95 and FedEx Standard Overnight is $27.95. Ouidad estimates 2 to 8 business days for standard delivery, including processing, and orders received by 9am EST ship by the end of the next business day.
What is the Ouidad return policy?
Ouidad.com has a 30-day money-back policy, so you can return products for any reason within 30 days of receiving your order. Start the return in Ouidad's online returns portal, which gives you a prepaid FedEx label. A $5.99 handling fee comes off your refund, unless you choose store credit, in which case the fee is waived. Gifts with purchase can't be refunded, and products bought from salons or other retailers must go back to where you bought them.
Does Ouidad have a loyalty program?
Yes, Curl Circle Rewards is free to join by creating a Ouidad.com account, and you get 30 points for signing up. Members earn 1 point per $1 spent, with 100 points worth $10 off at checkout. Spending $250 unlocks the Curl Icon tier, with 1.25 points per $1 and 75 bonus points, and spending $500 unlocks Curl Legend, which adds free shipping on every order. Points expire one year after they're issued.
Does Ouidad offer a student discount?
Yes, students at accredited schools can get a discount after verifying with SheerID on Ouidad's Discount Program page. The discount applies to any order with no minimum spend, and the current percentage is shown on the Discount Program page. You get a unique code to enter at checkout, and it can't be combined with other promotions.
Hints and Tips
Start a subscription for your wash-day staples: If you go through shampoo and conditioner on a schedule, Subscribe & Save beats most codes. You get 40% off the first auto-delivery, 15% off every one after that, and free shipping with no minimum. Promo codes don't work on subscription orders, so put your repeat buys on auto-delivery and save codes for styling one-offs.
Verify once with SheerID: The Discount Program covers far more people than most brands' programs, including students, educators, medical staff, first responders, military families, 18-to-28-year-olds and anyone 55 or over. If you qualify, compare it with the codes on this page before you check out, since you can only use one discount per order.
Pick store credit for returns: Ouidad's 30-day money-back return policy covers products you've tried, which helps when you're still working out what your curl type needs. Choosing store credit instead of a refund to your card skips the $5.99 handling fee, so it's worth it if you're swapping a gel for a cream from another line.
What we recommend at Ouidad
Curl Quencher Moisturizing Conditioner: A conditioner Danielle Jackson uses on her own type 4, color-treated hair. She calls Ouidad one of her favorite curl-specific brands and says it "also works pretty well as a detangler." See why it's in our curly hair picks
What if my promo code doesn’t work?
Our team always tries to make sure any out-of-date sales or incorrect deals are not included on our pages. To do this, we check a few things, including:
- Trying the deal and checking if they are valid ourselves.
- Check we don’t have any unique, one-use promotions.
- Looking at the offer conditions to make sure you’ve got all the information.
However, there are occasions when details change or the sales may expire without us knowing. If this happens, be sure to contact us by emailing coupons.marieclaire@futurenet.com so we know.
How do we make money?
It’s completely free for customers to use the deals we have above. We’ll get a small percentage of the money spent as a commission from the retailer you shop at. As with most businesses, we do need to make money however this will never impact the price you pay. The brand will give us a small share of the profit for connecting you to them. This helps us keep going whilst saving you more money.
Simply put, the retailer makes a sale, we get a commission, and you get a deal.
