By many accounts, 2017 was a garbage fire: An accused sexual predator was elected to the White House, natural disasters seemed a near daily occurrence, mass shootings continued to plague our country, and—oh—it turns out that men don't know how to interact with women without assaulting them.
But enough—let's talk about the few bright spots: Adele breaking her Grammy for Beyoncé! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement! Wonder Woman! The solar eclipse! (Technically that last one was a dark spot, but you know what we mean.)
On MarieClaire.com, we had many big moments of our own. Before we all bid a much-needed adieu to 2017, here are our highlights.
