Hey, what's up, hello, Adele. As we discussed earlier this week, it's been too damn long, but all's forgiven now that you've blessed us with a brand-new single and a stunning music video to go with it.

Released today, "Hello" is a breathtaking ballad that, we can already attest, holds up to being played on a loop.

According to the British songstress, new album 25 is not a "break-up," record, but "Hello," says (and shows us) otherwise. The heart-rending video, which was directed by Xavier Dolan, finds Adele hot and cold with her main squeeze, The Wire's Tristan Wilds, while belting lyrics dripping with her signature lovelorn candor.

"Hello from the other side / I must've called a thousand times to tell you / I'm sorry, for everything that I've done / But when I call you never seem to be home," she sings. "Hello from the outside / At least I can say that I've tried to tell you / I'm sorry, for breaking your heart / But it don't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore."

It's perfect, and man is it good to have her back, making us feel all the feelsthe good, the bad, and especially the ugly. We'll just be here watching this video on repeat until 25 drops on November 20.
