

The wait is (finally) over! After months of a rumored summer launch date, Swedish-born retailer H&M is officially open for online shopping! The store announced the news via Twitter early this morning.
H&M's e-commerce site will be available in all 50 states, and is joining several overseas nations such as Germany, Sweden, and Norway in the world of online shopping for the retailer. H&M's e-commerce site will be home to more than just their in-store inventory: their new home collection, H&M Home, is now available exclusively online. Additionally, the Paris Runway Collection will hit the web two weeks before it hits stores.
To celebrate the new and much improved site, the megastore is holding an Instagram-based contest called "50 States of Fashion." One fashion blogger from each of the 50 states will ask readers to submit Instagram snaps of their online H&M purchases, and the best of the best will win a prize. In the meantime, hit up the new site to save some major cash from the comfort of your home. A little tip: to save yourself from those pesky shipping costs, sign up for their online newsletter. Let's just hope that H&M's website doesn't crash when the swarms of fashion lovers log on to shop their Isabel Marant designer collaboration, which hits H&M both in-store and online in November.
