Sure, you've got visible highlight in all your selfies–but are you ready for the big leagues? Say hello to neon strobing: The internet's brightest and shiniest new obsession. The brainchild behind the look is none other than Dezzy Lopez, an 18-year-old self-taught makeup artist from North Carolina.

To create the look, the teenage MUA paints colorful, fluorescent highlighters on all the high planes of the face for a truly electrifying sheen. Lopez credits indie brands like Lime Crime, BeautyBarBaby, and Moon Glimmer Cosmetics–all of which create highlighters that are a bit more *lit* than your typical palettes–as the sources for his unconventional glow

Despite the fact that highlighting is meant to mimic where sunlight hits naturally, we can assure you that no sun is needed when neon strobing. As Lopez displays, these ultra-pigmented highlighters can make you Rainbow Brite in the dark.
