You Might Already Own the Foundation That's Responsible for This Magic
*Digs frantically through makeup bag.*
There's nothing more painful than looking at a beet-red sunburn–especially when you're staring at one in the mirror. So it makes sense that Reddit user Tammi Turner looked to a full coverage foundation, Too Faced's Born This Way Foundation, to help redirect attention from her severe, days-old burn. But it didn't just diffuse, it practically made it disappear. And the internet is freaking out about it.
As you might've guessed, Tammi's sunburn was a result of simply forgetting to apply sunscreen. "I do Soap Box Derby racing and the day I got the burn, we left at 5:30 a.m. to drive two hours to the race site," she tells us. "I was so tired that sunscreen just slipped my mind completely." When she woke up with the burn, she applied aloe, then snapped the pre-foundation selfie.
Fortuitously, she had the Born This Way formula on hand as she had been using it for three months prior. And while she knew the coverage was good, she didn't realize it would be THIS good.

Although the foundation had no healing impact on Tammi's sunburn, she did say that applying the makeup on top of her burn was pretty painless–and we're guessing that's because the foundation has coconut water in it, which naturally replenishes moisture.
Aside from a hint of highlighter and a touch of concealer, Born This Way was the key player in taking Tammi's sunburnt skin from bright red to a fair, color-matched beige. So, if there's anything that we've learned from Tammi, it's 1) always wear SPF and 2) have Born This Way foundation on hand for the worst case, post-fun-in-the-sun scenario.
