Haim has officially lived our dream — and yours too, if Fleetwood Mac's Rumours is behind your most profound teenage paradigm shift. As part of a T Magazine profile, Stevie Nicks invited Este, Danielle, and Alana to her Los Angeles home for an intimate heart-to-heart(s) and sure-to-become-legend jam session. Nicks not only got candid about her storied career, but provided the girls with pearls of wisdom we only wish we could indentify with.
"You're gonna be that rock 'n' roll woman that's going to make people happy and take them out of their miserable lives for two hours… and they're going to want your music," she told them. "And then, girls … at 66 years old, you can be starting a year and a half tour that sold out its US dates — in the first week."
During an impromptu, stripped-down musical interlude, the Haim girls took on Fleetwood Mac's classic ballad "Rhiannon" while Nicks played along on the ivory keys. The raw recording, which you can listen to below, will send chills down your spine.
As if their three-hour hang session wasn't envy-inducing enough, when it came to an end, Nicks deemed the trio "sisters of the moon," and presented them with gold chains adorned with gold moon pendants.
Nicks' new album, 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault, is out today.

I’m the associate web editor at Marie Claire. I love to while away the hours at coffee shops, hunt for vintage clothes, and bask in the rough-and-tumble beauty of NYC. I firmly believe that solitude can be a luxury if you’ve got the right soundtrack—that being the Rolling Stones, of course.
