Grimes revealed her nickname for her new baby with Elon Musk, X Æ A-Xii, in a new interview. Originally named X Æ A-12, the parents were forced to change the name due to California naming laws, which prohibit the inclusion of numbers. "Roman numerals. Looks better tbh," Grimes told an enquiring fan on Instagram.
•X, the unknown variable ⚔️•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent 🤍+ (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (⚔️🐁 metal rat)May 6, 2020
Speaking to Bloomberg, Grimes revealed she calls her newborn something else at home: She uses the nickname "Little X." Cute!
