What I love most about New York is that it's a walking city. On my morning commute or a leisurely stroll, I'm enamored with the sights and more often than not, have a soundtrack to accompany me.

Every week I update my phone — I'm a staunch Samsung Galaxy user — with my favorite music of the moment, ensuring each track can keep up with the pulse of the city.

Lately, I've been into indie rock from the likes of the Temples, Ray LaMontagne, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (who I was lucky enough to see live this past weekend). Here, I've created a 20-track playlist of the songs I've been listening to on repeat.

I’m the associate web editor at Marie Claire. I love to while away the hours at coffee shops, hunt for vintage clothes, and bask in the rough-and-tumble beauty of NYC. I firmly believe that solitude can be a luxury if you’ve got the right soundtrack—that being the Rolling Stones, of course.
