How Well Do After Co-Stars Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and Josephine Langford Know Each Other?
We put them to the test in the latest installment of our video series.
Though their chemistry in the new movie After is so smoldering it’s practically NSFW just to watch them make eye contact (seriously, have you seen this trailer?), it turns out that Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and Josephine Langford are extremely goofy together in real life. That, at least, seems to be the takeaway from the duo’s edition of MarieClaire.com’s ongoing series, “How Well Do You Know Your Co-Star?”
In case you’re just now hearing about the romance movie that everyone is about to be talking about, After is based on the hit Anna Todd series of the same name, originally published on the megafamous fanfiction site Wattpad. (You can read it here!)
Fiennes-Tiffin plays Hardin Scott, a handsome bad-boy and not-so-subtle nod to real-life handsome good boy Harry Styles. Langford plays Tessa, the good girl object of his affection. The two of them are students at Washington State University, because presumably all erotic fanfiction-turned-major motion pictures must be set in the Pacific Northwest. There is a lot of hot make-outs.
When we got Fiennes-Tiffin and Langford to sit and play a round of HWDYKYCS, some of those same dynamics came out. For instance, Langford clearly did her homework and answered a lot of questions right—as Hero predicts early on that she will—while he does, um, not as well.
Check it out below to watch them be adorable and hilarious.
After hits theaters April 12.
