Nasim Pedrad is one busy, funny gal. After leaving Saturday Night Live, she joined the comedy Mulaney on Fox and is a recurring regular on New Girl. She'll also be seen in the upcoming series Scream Queens, created by Ryan Murphy. And now, she'll be helming a project all her own.

Inking a deal with Fox, Pedrad will be creating, writing, and starring in her own show for the network, reports Variety (opens in new tab).

"Nasim is not only one of the most talented comedic actresses out there today, she's also a formidable writer with a clear, bitingly witty point of view," Fox entertainment president David Madded said. "With her role on Scream Queens and the ideas she's already bringing to the table for development, we are so excited for her to be an even bigger part of the Fox family this year."

We know it's a long shot, but we're just hoping for an Aziz Ansari impression (opens in new tab). (Yeah, we're into the Pedrad deep cuts.)
