Snapchat is already the app of choice for goofy selfies and videos of random dogs you see on the street. (Well, it is if you're me, at least.) Now, with a brand-new feature, it'll also become the place to play around with emojis on video.
TechCrunch reports that Snapchat has introduced 3D stickers, emoji-like icons that you can add to your video snaps. All you have to do is record a video, tap the sticker button, place it where you want, and then press and hold on the sticker. You have to add the emoji from the sticker box, not the text box, to make them animated and interactive.
With this new feature, you can add emoji to moving things, like people, animals, or cars, in a video. Get ready to add real heart-eyes to your face, or add a few bird emojis to your cool sunset video.
Unfortunately, the feature is only available on Android phones for now, but the company promises to add the emojis to its iOS app in the next few weeks, according to The Verge. 🙌
