I’m a Fashionable Mom—These Are the Mother’s Day Gifts I Would Love to Receive

Straight from my most-worn rotation.

The most special gifts I’ve ever received have come from my children. I’ve always kept everything they made for me, especially from the early years. My daughter, Gloria, made me a heart-shaped ceramic necklace that I keep displayed in my closet. It brings me joy every time I see it.

My son, George, once gave me a drawing of a blue sparkly shoe when he was very little. I remember loving it so much at the time, and looking back, it feels almost like a premonition—years later, the very first shoe we ever created for Larroude was that exact shade.

That being said, I also love a beautifully wrapped gift that doesn't feel homemade—one that is sometimes indulgent, thoughtful, and a bit extra. I can't help it! Whether you're looking for a Mother's Day gift to buy for the stylish mom in your life or just shopping for yourself, I rounded up every one of my favorite gifts to receive. These are the ones I would always be thrilled to receive. Let's dive in.

The Perfect Red Polish

I’m completely loyal to Chanel’s nail polish in the shade "Incidiaire." It's the perfect bright red shade. It's bold, but it makes you feel instantly put together. I wear it every single week. I think I've gone through four or five bottles. I love it so much.

A Sentimental Piece of Jewelry

I always gravitate toward pieces of jewelry that feel personal. I love Adina Reyter’s groovy pendants and chains for that reason—especially the delicate hearts and initial charms. I wear a “G” for both Gloria and George. Years later, I added one for my husband and another with my own initial. It feels intimate, like carrying your family with you in the most subtle way. Pendant necklaces are a great collectible piece— something you can play with and add to over the years.

Flats She'll Wear Everywhere

For the fashion mom who wants ease without ever sacrificing style, I always recommend the Larroude Verona ballet flats. The Mary Jane silhouette is feminine, timeless, and incredibly versatile. I love it in the crocheted edition, but the black suede version is also a great option if the mom in your life loves neutrals. It’s one of those shoes that just works, no matter what.

Luxurious Creams That Will Elevate Her Routine

Beauty, for me, is also about ritual. I’m obsessed with Irene Forte's skincare range. I love everything—her creams, lotions, the textures, the scents, and the fact that everything is clean and made in Sicily. It turns even the simplest moment of self care into something luxurious.

Flowers That Will Last Forever

Finally, I love flowers, always flowers. In New York, I adore the arrangements Kelsey Hayes creates at the Pop Up Florist; they feel so alive and artful. I’ve also recently fallen in love with the silk flowers from Apartment387. They look completely real (and they last forever), which feels so poetic to me. Unlike traditional fake flowers, these silk pieces have a natural feel.
