It's officially Cara Delevingne's world, and we're just living in it. 2013's "it" model's most recent gig is serving as the face of Saint Laurent's Fall 2013 collection, promoting Hedi Slimane's grunge-tastic vision. Despite the fact that the new era of Saint Laurent debuted all the way back in February, we've been struggling to find a true pulse for the brand until now. While Cara is incredibly omnipresent in the fashion world, she gives this campaign a face, and with it, a breath of fresh air. She channels Courtney Love in a glamourous, legitimate way that brings an element of high fashion chicness to the much-critiqued new label.
Cara's meteoric rise to supermodel stardom can best be exemplified by the number of brands she's represented in the last year. We've seen her in DKNY, Burberry, and Chanel, among others, not to mention in 2012's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show — the pinnacle of some models' careers — and walking in just about every major show in every city during the past few Fashion Months. Of course, she snagged the Model of the Year award at last year's British Fashion Awards, too. We're not sure whether it's those eyebrows, her unmatched versatility, or her extremely savvy use of social media, but we're going to bet that she'll come out on top of the campaign count this season.
