As part of its new Choose Beautiful campaign, Dove visited five cities around the world (San Francisco, Shanghai, Delhi, London, and São Paolo) and presented the women there with a challenge: Choose one of two doors to walk through—one labeled "average," and one labeled "beautiful."
Most of the women in the video initially choose the "average" pathway, but more and more work up the courage to take the "beautiful" route. It's a powerful message—taking charge of your own beauty, and prioritizing how you choose to see yourself over how the world may have convinced you that you're seen.
Here's hoping we pick nothing but the "beautiful" doors from here on out.
