Have you ever been jealous of Selena Gomez's glossy, bouncy, wavy hair? It's so shampoo-commercial perfect, she's actually modeled for shampoo commercials. A LOT of pop stars actually wear extensions and weaves without ever admitting it, but Selena is honest about hers—and shrugs it off like it's no big deal.
Sel was hanging out with YouTuber Lilly Singh to film a very cute "Newly Friend Game" video when she mentioned the story behind her famous dark waves.
Selena complimented Lilly on her "humor and heart," which prompted this sweet conversation:
"That's like a real compliment," Lilly responded. "It's not about my hair. That's the first time a compliment isn't about my hair."
"You do have beautiful hair," Selena agreed.
"Yeah, and by the way, it's not fake. Can you just pull this real quick?" Lilly asked, leaning in so Selena can run a hand through her waist-length mane.
"Wait, I gotta check for a weave," Selena said, testing Lilly's hair with a tug. "Yeah, it's so nice. Mine, however, is very fake."
