Where the Fashion Girls Are: 12 Hotels with Accommodations as Chic as the Guests

Even chicer once you check in.

"Ooh, is that that blogger with the minimalist aesthetic and an alliterative name combining some sort of cute food with a type of fabric?" you whisper discreetly to the receptionist at the front desk of that hotel with the minimalist aesthetic, neon-lit escalator, and single name. She'll never tell, but yes—yes it is. In advance of Fashion Week—but for whenever, because stylish surroundings are for all seasons—12 very well-appointed hotels, whether your stay is #spon or not.

You've probably seen more than one skyward snap of the famous wrought-iron balconies on your Instagram feed, but did you know that along those railings, there are extremely comfortable rooms? And a plush bar that feels like it could be a meeting place for the Skull and Bones society? No wonder it's also a popular spot for fashion dinners and events—you never know who you might spot there. Be cool.

2 The London Edition

With a perpetually lit lobby bar and an underground venue that plays host to designers' thumping after-parties, the Edition hosts a crowd that's as interested in de Kooning as it is in Delpozo. 3 Public

Meet us under the escalators. #PublicHotels #LuxuryForAll

Everything you want in a hotel—a Tron escalator, a Jean Georges restaurant (f*ck the stereotype that fashion people don't eat), a rooftop with sick views—with none of the stuff you don't (mainly lots of extra employees asking 489 times if they can help you, which can get kind of suffocating). And because it's an Ian Schrager property, there are always lots of Fashion Happenings going on in the Public Arts space.

4 Refinery Hotel

Even though the New York shows have splintered in terms of venue, the Refinery is still plenty close to the action—and even closer when you consider that it's located in the Garment District The rooms even reference the building's past as a hat factory (chic), while the Refinery Rooftop was made for post-harried-running-around chilling.

What? You don't want to roll up to the Grand Palais in the hotel's 1934 Rolls-Royce? Or have a quick nip around to the Champs-Elysées? Or a massive, Versailles-y room all to yourself?

6 Hôtel de Crillon

After undergoing a massive renovation, this historic luxury hotel reopened earlier this summer looking as fresh as one of the famous debs that swan about there every November at le Bal. This might've had something to do with the painstaking restorations, all that marble, and Karl Lagerfeld lending his signature touch to the Grands Appartements. Just call it the old-new PFW clubhouse for a gaggle of international editors in chief.

10 The Mark Hotel

Home is where the design is…

On the first Monday in May, AKA the Met Gala, you can't even get in for all the paparazzi blocking the doors, hoping to get a shot of the celebrities departing. The rest of the year, it's no less fashiony, with a classic, monochrome aesthetic and unstuffy vibe.
