Actress Teri Hatcher Shares Her Anti-Aging Skincare Secrets

She talks menopause, wellness, and all things skin in the latest episode of Masked and Answered.

Award-winning actress Teri Hatcher shared her skincare and wellness routine with Team MC and we took lots and lots of notes. In the latest episode of Masked and Answered, Hatcher reveals her health and wellness secrets and anti-aging tips, all while wearing the Clarins' Super Restorative Instant Lift Serum Mask ($25), which gives her major Invisible Man vibes. "Who can't use an instant lift?" asks the actress, who is joined by her cat Scout. Watch the full video for the cutest cat close-up you'll ever see.

Hatcher starts her skincare routine by applying a few drops of Orveda's Healing Sap ($138): "I just use a few drops and rub this in well. It feels so good I love this product," she says. Next, she alternates between two tinted sunscreens, Skinceuticals' Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 ($34) and EltaMD's UV Elements Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 44 ($36), both of which leave behind a natural, second-skin-like layer of coverage. She follows with a sheer tint made especially for the eye area: Natura Bisse The Cure Sheer Eye ($132). "It's not really a concealer but it has a tint to it, and feels so moisturizing under the eyes," Hatcher describes. Makeup-wise, she can't leave the house without Pixi Beauty's Lash Lift Mascara ($18).

"I feel the most beautiful when I am being my most authentic self," Hatcher shares. "When I'm treating myself well, eating right, exercising, being creative, and being social with a community of people that I really care about—all of those things drive towards self-acceptance."

Her biggest anti-aging skin secret? Drinking three liters of water per day, which the actress declares made a radical difference for her almost immediately. "I did it on the advice of a nutritionist and a week after I had so many of my friends ask, 'What are you doing to your skin? It looks amazing.' I couldn't think of anything different other than the water." Additionally, exercise coupled with clean eating keeps the actress feeling her best.

"After menopause, I felt like exercise kept my body the way I wanted. I was strong and had energy, mentally and physically," she explains. "I also stick to an anti-inflammatory diet, which includes no wheat, no dairy, no sugar, no alcohol, no coffee, and no fun," she says laughing. "I'm just kidding. It's really fun to feel good—it's worth it."
