Karolina Kurková Is Urging Moms to Join the #BreastfeedingSelfie Campaign

In the same vein of Kim Kardashian's new stance on breastfeeding in public ("I think it's such a natural experience and I'm not shy about that."), fellow celeb mom Karolina Kurková is urging every social media-savvy mother to join her in the #BreastfeedingSelfie campaign—which she started with this gorgeous Instagram post: 

"Taking a moment today to give thanks for the gift of breastfeeding," the mom of Noah, 2 mos., and Tobin, 6, wrote. "Nature had things figured out long before we did and I believe there is no better source of nutrition for our babies than a mother's milk, when we are able to breastfeed."

While Kurková understands it can sometimes be a difficult undertaking, she is rallying for mothers who do choose to breastfeed to stick with it. "It's not an easy process, but I encourage you to not give up!" she continued. "It was challenging for me at the start, but I am loving every step of this journey. I celebrate the women who have made this beautiful commitment!!"

And for every woman who might be hesitant about breastfeeding, the model is hoping she can be a source of inspiration to give it a go. 

"If this can help and encourage moms to at least give it a try and see someone else do it and put it out there that makes me happy," she later tweeted. "Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but we all need encouragement and acknowledgement!!"
