Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are thriving this holiday season, and Delevingne wants everybody to know it. The model shared a lengthy multi-photo tribute to her girlfriend on her Instagram today to mark Benson's 30th birthday. The caption was gushing...and the most Delevingne has directly and publicly said about their relationship.
Delevingne wrote to Benson, "Happy birthday @ashleybenson There is so much I could say but something I love and cherish most about us is that I don’t need to because YOU KNOW and that’s all that matters. It’s you and me which is my favourite. My safe place. You let me be silly, you let me be wild, you keep me free, secure and curious. I feel like I’ve known you my entire life and I am so proud of watching you grow into the woman that you always dreamt of being. I love you beyond words my sprinkles, choonchi, angel face, grumpy ass, sweet cheeks, never boring, buttmunch, Benson ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

The tribute comes one week after a breakup rumor briefly emerged after someone hacked Delevingne's Twitter and tweeted "Me and Ashley broke up." The tweet was quickly taken down (opens in new tab), and is assumed to be the work of a hacker.
Delevingne and Benson have been dating for over a year. Delevingne told (opens in new tab)Marie Claire (opens in new tab) in August that she met Benson while the girls were shooting Alex Ross Perry’s Her Smell in the spring of 2018. “We weren’t looking for it,” Delevingne said of their romance. “It was really just very authentic and natural.”
In June, Delevingne addressed Benson directly in her speech at a gala: "I also have another very special woman in this room to thank, and you know who you are...She's one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought. I love you, Sprinkles."
