2024 is truly Angel Reese’s year. After going seventh overall at the WNBA draft, she turned 22 in a custom gown at the Met Gala. Now, she’s the face of a new campaign with inclusive denim brand Good American, highlighting its new denim range outfitted with longer inseams. The partnership is a match made in heaven, considering the Forward on the Chicago Sky is 6’3".

Shot in a mix of black and white and color, the denim campaign captures the bold energy that has made the Maryland native a household name. "I’ve always advocated for self-expression and not being confined to a single mold," Reese tells Marie Claire. The basketball star is known for being a force in the game—but her fearless approach extends to her fashion, too. "For me, personal style is about owning the moment and showing off who you are with unapologetic confidence, both on and off the court," says Reese. Her affinity for boldness was displayed at this year's Met Gala, where she wore a seafoam green sequin and feathered gown by British brand 16Arlington.

The campaign stays true to Reese and her evolving style. "There’s no playbook for personal style, which makes fashion so empowering. My style mirrors my personality—I love statement pieces that reflect my energy." She wears everyday wardrobe staples, like white tees alongside trendy double denim separates.

Reese says she loves wearing crop tops with her denim. "You will see me in that look a lot," she tells 'Marie Claire' in an exclusive interview.

The partnership with the fashion editor-favorite denim brand comes at a true watershed moment for women's sports—mainly because of Reese's star power. "It's been really great to see female athletes finally being embraced in the larger fashion conversation," she says. As her legions of old and new fans know, she's among the most in-demand players. In one image, she poses with a bouquet—which she's rightfully earned as one of the brightest faces in the league right now.

The new collection, out on May 9, is designed explicitly for women taller than 5’10 with inseams measuring between 33 and 37 inches. For reference, the industry standard clocks between 30 and 32 inches. Consisting of 33 pairs of denim in nine just-dropped fits, the collection includes a selection of Good American’s best-selling styles, including their Good Legs, Always Fits, and the baggier Good Ease jeans.

As for Reese's personal favorite silhouettes, she shouts out wide-leg jeans—Good American's Good '90s, in particular.
