Keratosis pilaris, a bumpy skin condition that effects 40%-50% women, has been a lifelong struggle of mine. And while I've come to accept that these bumps are as enduring as Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," I do what I can to minimize the problem.

My latest product discovery isn't exactly groundbreaking—in fact, if you do your KP research, it's a relatively common go-to—but I have to admit that it took *two* Kardashian endorsements for me to finally get on board with Bio-Oil's Multi-Use Skincare formula.

Though it's a tried-and-true all-purpose industry favorite, I've shied away from skin oils at large because I prefer less greasy moisturizers. But perpetually obsessed with glowy Kardashian-Jenner limbs as I am (exhibit A below), I gave it a shot after learning it has the K-stamp of approval from both Kim and Khloé, who reportedly slather their bodies in it daily.

And lo and behold, within a week of coating my decrepit cold-weather skin in the stuff, I'd found a worthy opponent for my brail-like arms and legs thanks to its hydrating/soothin/skin-tone-evening ingredients.

It went like this: Each night, seconds after using a gentle exfoliant and hopping out of the shower, I'd generously apply the Bio-Oil to every last inch of my body, trying my best to suck it up and get used to its inheritly slippery consistency.

While I wasn't in my comfort zone and took it time to sink in, after a night's sleep, my legs (my biggest KP concern) were less inflamed, and most importantly, smoother. The raised follicle bumps were still there, but they had decreased in size, redness, and were softer to the touch, gradually improving through the week. Another bonus was that the discolored marks on my legs, mostly from shaving nicks and old mosquito bites, were becoming less and less glaring.

While Bio-Oil isn't the miracle KP cure I'll always keep my finger's crossed for, nor does my complexion suddenly rival that of an actual Kardashian (those genes, though), it's the most effective and economical solution I've found for not just my KP, but the telltale signs of winter for sensitive skin. Simply put: I'm a convert.
