Let me set the scene: Eight British girls, the best friends, in much need of a escape, set out from L.A. to Vegas in a suburban. The Hangover and Bradley Cooper fresh in our minds, the chatter constant, the gossip scandalous, and five hours later we arrive on Planet Vegas.

THE BELLAGIO
On arriving at the Bellagio Hotel, we are whisked through the mayhem of the marble lobby into the oasis of VIP concierge. We are seen to in seconds, granted our rooms, furnished with line-jumping passes, and literally carried up to the 42nd floor.

Our two Tower Deluxe lake-view-room Kings were interconnecting. Plush soft furnishings in hangover-friendly muted shades. The Bellagio manages to be chic with a luxe feel whilst still being slap bang on top of a casino.

DINING
We decide upon dining in The Yellowtail restaurant (out of the 14 on offer!). We were treated to the best table on the strip outside on the veranda overlooking the lake fountain and the mesmerizing water ballet (choreographed to water fountains), which entertained us until the food arrived. With Frank Sinatra in the air and mouthwatering Popping Candy Salmon in our bellies we were set for the evening’s shenanigans.

NIGHTLIFE
Bellagio: Caramel Bar. The sleek lounge serves the tastiest potent cocktails. It’s the perfect venue to kick-start the evening’s shenanigans. Tao: We finally decide to step out of the oxygen-filled air of the Bellagio to experience some Vegas strip. Tao is one of Vegas’ hottest spots. With Rihanna to our left we sipped laughed and grinded the night away to the best R&B DJ we’ve ever heard.

THE HANGOVER
Simply the best thing ever for a hangover...an all-you-can-eat buffet. And we ate ALL we could. For $30 a head we consumed steak to sea bass, sausages, sardines, sugar-coated treats, and everything in-between.

Once digested, we relaxed in the award-winning Spa Bellagio for some Zened-out treatments. Needless to say, we didn’t mange one of the gym’s cardio boot camp classes, but we I did peek at the ‘Bamboo room’ and saw it stuffed full with state-of-the-art equipment.

SHOPPING
There may have been some serious damage done at the gambling tables but nothing in comparison to Via Bellagio! Chanel, Tiffany, Armani, Gucci, Prada, Hermès, where you will find the largest selection of the most coveted pieces you can’t find in NYC or L.A. stores. Limited-edition 2.55 bag, anyone...?

FACILITIES
14 restaurants, nightclub, casino, showrooms, wedding chapel, six outdoor pools, large health club, spa, concierge, tour desk, car-rental desk, business center, elegant shopping arcade, salon, 24-hr. room service, in-room massage, laundry service, dry cleaning, executive-level rooms.

All in all, what are we missing? A tiger and Bradley Cooper!
