Imagine a one-stop-shop for the world's most coveted luxury beauty products—from miracle serums, transformative eye creams, and refreshing cleansers to startlingly effective masks and face tools—all available to shop at a single, curated destination. On Monday, June 6, luxury retailer Net-a-Porter launched its first-ever Beauty Hall of Fame, comprised of the top-tier beauty must-haves on the market. The Hall of Fame highlights an all-star lineup of more than 200 products from cult brands like La Mer, NuFace, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Tata Harper, and more.
Net-a-Porter curated their inaugural hall of fame list based on the most popular products on its site. Newby Hands, the Global Beauty Director of Net-a-Porter, described the edit as a round-up of the most tried-and-true offerings. "There are some products that stand out from the crowd—and our overcrowded bathroom shelves—because they work well, are a pleasure to us and deliver results we can see," explained Hands in a statement.
The retailer's Beauty Hall of Fame campaign comes at a time where beauty sales continue to rise in response to stay-at-home orders and salon shutdowns due to COVID-19. Many are putting self-care at the forefront during this time, which can translate into more committed beauty, skincare, and wellness routines. "We've seen a lot of focus in that idea of me time, and we've seen that that's changed a lot from candles and bath oils to women being very busy in their bathrooms and proactive with their skincare," added Hands.
