If you were looking for a sign—a beauty bat signal, of sorts—that makeup was back and better than ever, allow us to introduce you to Zara Beauty. Announced today and launching May 12, fashion giant Zara is launching lipsticks, glosses, nail polishes, bronzers, and more in over 130 shades designed in collaboration with legendary makeup artist Diane Kendal. What's more, the products are all cruelty-free and refillable (save for the polishes and glosses which are housed in eco-chic glass).

"It felt like the right time to collaborate with a brand that has such a diverse and inclusive audience, bringing the ethos of high quality ingredients and clean formulas and making it accessible to everybody—no matter their gender, age, skin color, or personal style," Kendal tells BAZAAR.com.

Now about the affordable products: prices range from $7.90 to $25.90, with refills starting at only $4.90. There are six lip products at launch: Ultimatte Matte Lipstick, Cult Satin Lipstick, Tinted Balm Lipstick, Stiletto Demi-Matte Lipstick, Nourishing Jelly Oil, and the Velvet Pigment Lip Gloss. There's something for everyone in the soft, generously pigmented, and easy-to-wear formulas. The sleek black-and-white and structural packaging reminds us of lip products from luxury fashion houses but at a fraction of the price. And if you're curious, the slight slant in the design is inspired by the Z in Zara.

For eyes, there are four products at launch: Eye Colour in 6 Eyeshadow Palette (in 5 colors), Eye Colour in 2 Eyeshadow Duo (in nine duos), Metal Foil Loose Pigment (in four shades), and one eyeliner. To round out the cosmetics collection are nine bronzers, nine blushes, two highlighters, and three face palettes, as well as six brushes to help you apply all of the above.

There are also a whopping 39 nail polishes that Zara says are made with "natural ingredients" yet still wear "just as long as traditional nail polishes."

For a launch this extensive, you don't just need one campaign—you need nine. Zara tasked world-renowned photographers Steven Meisel, David Sims, Marilyn Minter, Oliver Hadlee Pearch, Zoë Ghertner, Craig McDean, Nadine Ijewere, Mario Sorrenti, and Fabien Baron to shoot a version of the Zara Beauty campaign and the result is nothing short of gorgeous and worthy of being pinned to the top of a beauty mood board.

Zara Beauty is launching online at Zara.com and at select retail locations on Wednesday, May 12.
