These Neutral Eyeshadow Palettes Are the Best of the Best
Nude eyeshadows aren't one-shade-fits-all.

No matter the season, neutrals are necessary. As on-trend as bold eye colors may be for 2019, nude shades are timeless and will never do you wrong. I personally lean on neutral eyes when I want to have a bold lip moment, and don't want any other area of my face to steal the show. Or, when I'm sleep-deprived and need to not look like a walking corpse. But neutrals can get a little tricky when the shades are too light, and only end up washing you out. This is why you need pretty peach, taupe, and chocolate tones in the mix to enhance your skin's natural glow and work with your skin tone, not against it. These pretty nude eyeshadow palettes, (opens in new tab) which all come recommended by celeb makeup artists and beauty editors, work well with all skin tones and will give your face a shot of radiance.
1. These Matte and Shimmery Neutrals
Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette, $39
From soft peach to smoky brown, these rich neutrals come in 12 shades, and are available in matte and shimmery textures. Whether you're going for a more low-key look for the office or something sultry for after-hours, these eye colors work together to make you look incredible.
2. This $9 Steal
Catrice Fresh Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette, $9
Sometimes, life gets in the way and the I-Woke-Up-Like-This glow feels so unattainable. I'm here for you. Just sweep some of these highly-pigmented neutrals across your lids for a radiance re-up. Plus, this comes with a pearlescent highlighter and sculpting powder—so your cheeks are covered, too.
3. This Treat-Themed Palette
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette, $49
If you get equally excited by the idea of chocolate and pretty makeup, you need this palette. Each chocolate-inspired shade has a scent that will make you so happy. Plus, the hues will give your eyes a gorgeous wash of color that stays put for hours.
4. This Crowd-Pleaser
Urban Decay Naked2 Palette, $54
In my opinion, it's against the beauty handbook rules to talk about neutral eyeshadows without including an Urban Decay Naked palette. These taupe-hued neutrals are loved so hard for a reason—they're good.
5. This Desk-to-Date Palette
L'Oreal Paradise Enchanted Scented Eyeshadow Palette
Every single skin tone is covered in this palette equipped with 12 shades you can easily transition from your desk to your date with a bit of layering. The key to combining neutrals is knowing your undertones. Bonus: This smells heavenly.
6. This Luxe Quad
Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Cocoa Mirage, $88
You'll be surprised at how much you can do with just four opulent colors. Use the frosty white shade on the inner-corners to your eyes to make them pop, and the deep chocolate hue on the tail of your lids for an alluring, smokey vibe.
7. These Bronzey Nudes
NYX, Ultimate Edit Petite Shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals, $7
We may be in the middle of winter, but that doesn't mean your makeup can't look sun-kissed. These bronze-y neutrals will make you want a beach.
8. These Shade-Inclusive Neutrals
Mented Cosmetics is dedicated to redefining the idea of "nudes" for women of color. There have long been a limiting selection of "nudes" available for deeper skin tones. These gorgeous neutrals, however, enhance deeper skin tones and can take your look from work to play in seconds.
