Every summer, I get a vitamin infusion. Not an intravenous drip (though you can book one at theivdoc.com if that's your thing). I'm talking about a more holistic inoculation. First, there's vitamin D from the sun. Then I'm also getting more A's, B's, and C's from all the fresh fruit and vegetables at the farmers' market. But, most important, summer brings an influx of juicy, delectable beauty products packed with an alphabet's worth of goodness. This year, I'm glowing because of the vitamin C in Perricone MD's blush, Dr. Dennis Gross's setting spray, and brightening serums from Clinique and Sephora. Marc Jacobs Youthquake, a moisturizer with exfoliating pineapple water and antioxidant-rich dragonfruit and star-fruit extracts, is keeping my skin smooth. And my hair looks better than ever thanks to the B, C, and E in Peter Thomas Roth's shampoo. Finally, if you're in the mood to get crafty, I've got one more beauty hack for the season: Add an ingestible skincare supplement, like the ones from Dr. Brandt or Four Sigmatic, to fresh-squeezed juice, then freeze in molds to make ice pops. Not a bad way to get your RDA.
1.Fresh Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Face Mist
Don't underestimate the revitalizing power of this glow-in-a-bottle. The citrus spray is great as a primer, setting spray, or midday refresher.
2.Dr. Brandt Skincare Antioxidant Water Booster Triple Power Ingestible Water Supplement
Cardinal rule of beauty: Stay hydrated. Boost your water's power even more with this antioxidant-rich supplement that will trap free radicals and protect your skin from harsh pollutants.
3.L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Plump & Shine Lipstick
These highly pigmented lipsticks leave your lips as glossy, hydrated, and delicious as a slice of watermelon.
4.Perricone MD No Makeup Blush
A couple dots of this gel-cream blush will instantly gift your cheeks some life. Plus, it's infused with vitamin C to reduce discoloration and dullness the more you use it.
5. Bare Republic Mineral Citrus Cooler Continuous Spray SPF 30
We've said it once and we'll say it again: Use SPF, y'all. This plant-derived spray-on keeps you hydrated and shielded through all your summer outings.
6. Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser
This dynamic duo has all you need to meet your skin's vitamin needs, and then some. Vitamin C in the morning brightens, while A before bed fills in fine lines and wrinkles.
7. Aveeno Fresh Greens Blend Dry Shampoo
Aveeno's all-natural dry shampoo absorbs oil and thickens while injecting a fresh scent of rosemary and cucumber—perfect for second-day hair (or third).
8. Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Shampoo
Like a vitamin cocktail for your hair, a mixture of vitamins B, C, and E keeps your locks looking hydrated and lush.
9. Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser
Antioxidant-rich superfoods like spinach and kale work hand-in-hand with vitamins C and E to cleanse your face without stripping it.
10. Garnier SkinActive Glow Boost Illuminating Moisturizer
Apricot season only happens once a year, so it's best to capitalize on that while you can. Enter Garnier's illuminating moisturizer: It has apricot extract in pearl form to give your complexion a dewy glow.
11. Sephora Collection C+E Ultra Glow Serum
Vitamins C and E will battle even the darkest of spots and most uneven of skin tones in this this do-it-all super serum.
12. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare C+ Collagen Perfect Skin Set & Refresh Mist
Just one spritz gives your face a refreshing burst of amino acids and vitamin C. Plus, it won't ruin your makeup when you need a midday pick-me-up.
13. Marc Jacobs Beauty Youthquake Hydra-full Retexturizing Gel Crème
Pineapple enzymes, paired with starfruit and dragonfruit, do wonders for hydration and texture repair in this bouncy gel concoction.
14. Four Sigmatic Superfood Beauty Mix
Healthy skin and nails start from the inside out. Mix this packet with your drink of choice for some help getting your daily dose of beautifying vitamins.
