Update 1/26, 5:15 p.m.: Just kidding! Allison Williams and her husband Ricky Van Veen care way too much about 'The Bachelor' (her words, not ours) to disrupt a viewing party with a proposal. It was at the house where they attended viewing parties together, but not *during* an episode.
Original 1/26, 9:45 a.m.: The Bachelor has played a very important role in Allison Williams' relationship with her husband Ricky Van Veen. They not only met during a viewing party for the show, he proposed at one, too.
"I would not be married to my husband if it weren't for this show. We went to a weekly viewing party every week, and it was like a big group date, but with both genders equally distributed...it was how we met up," the Girls star told the show's host Chris Harrison during Bachelor Live last night. "So where the viewing party is, is at my friend Lee Eisenberg's house...and he has a couch where we always watch the show, and that's where Ricky proposed to me, was on Lee Eisenberg's couch."
The pair tied the knot in September. Who says The Bachelor never ends in marriage?
