Barack and Michelle Obama's annual holiday weekly address is here to brighten your Christmas Eve (and holiday season in general). In honor of their last Christmas as the First Family, the Obamas took a moment to celebrate what makes America great and to reflect on their time in the White House.
But, as nice as their kind words for our country and the men and women who serve in our military were, we'd be lying if we didn't say their throwback to their first holiday address wasn't a highlight of the video.
"Merry Christmas everybody!...Celebrating the holidays in the White House over these past eight years has been a true privilege," the Obamas wrote with their video message. "We've been able to welcome over half a million guests, our outstanding pastry chefs have baked 200,000 holiday cookies, and Barack has treated the American people to countless dad jokes. Although a few got a Frosty reception."
This is literally the only holiday greeting we needed to see today.
