In a continuation of the best (opens in new tab)longest presidential (opens in new tab) exit interview (opens in new tab) of all time (opens in new tab), Barack and Michelle Obama sent White House trick-or-treaters scampering off with the message "the more candy, the later you eat the candy, the better." Then they all did the choreo to "Thriller," and the three-term ban was lifted. (Just this once. Please.)

After welcoming masses of costumed children into their home, which is truly Halloween overachievement, the president and first lady joined them in dancing to the seasonal classic. Shoulders were shimmied. Hips were swiveled in a parentally appropriate way. Hands were swung in a monster-like fashion.

Enjoy it while it lasts, fam. Because nothing is quite so scary as what could come after November 8.
