Praise: The Next 'Game of Thrones' Book *Finally* Gets a Release Date
Mood: Arya starting a food fight.

Notoriously sloth-like writer George R.R. Martin has been taking his sweet time writing Winds of Winter, the sixth Game of Thrones book—such a sweet time that the show has outpaced him, and entire dynasties of fruit flies have lived and died without hearing the next Song of Ice and Fire. But now, we've finally, FINALLY got a release date, thanks to French Amazon.
(That means March 9, 2017. Just so there's no confusion.)
Neither Martin nor his publisher have confirmed this still-distant day, but when you're dealing in half-decades (A Dance with Dragons came out in 2011), WHAT'S ANOTHER YEAR MORE??
I AM HAPPY!
