Amazon’s Newest 'Drop' Is Here—and It’s Perfect for Spring

Here’s what we’re adding to our carts.

Amazon Prime

Of all the many reasons we’ve come to love Amazon, their collab line of must-have basics, called The Drop, is probably our favorite. The latest, with Japanese actress Aya Asahina, drops today. For the uninitiated, that means you need to browse and shop ASAP before things start selling out.

Amazon’s influencer-designed collections are almost always exactly what we want to be wearing at any given moment and feature people who are really involved with designing the collection, meaning it’s always a true representation of what they love to style and show off on their own feed.

Aya Asahina’s edit for The Drop is made of the type of classic pieces that we always need more of in our closet. There’s a boxy white popover that fits like the boyfriend button-down we’ve always dreamt of, a versatile black blazer that can toss over anything, and wide-leg cream trousers that we could see wearing to the office one day. And the one piece we can’t wait to get our hands on (thanks, Amazon Prime!) is the floaty tiered dress that we’ll live in this spring and summer. With versions in white and blue, it’s the MVP-to-be style that we plan on wearing with sandals and sneakers, belted or not, or even thrown over a bathing suit whenever we need a coverup.

After you’ve filled up your cart, don’t forget to keep an eye on Aya’s feed. Clothes aside, one of the best parts of The Drop is watching the person who designed everything style them. It’s hard to tell which we’re more excited about actually—getting our order in the mail or seeing how she puts the different pieces together. Thankfully, we’re going to get our cake and eat it too.
