These Jeans Are So Good, I Wore Them Five Days in a Row—How I Styled Them

They're that good.

Winter dressing has a way of slowing everything down—especially after coming back from the holidays—and, honestly, I welcome it. The first couple of weeks in January, I tend to get a little lazy, in the best possible way: Life hasn’t fully snapped back into high gear, so I lean into comfort, simplicity, and pieces that make getting dressed feel effortless.

That’s when a truly great pair of jeans becomes essential. Lately, it’s been Still Here’s Tate, with its trending cigarette fit, that I can’t stop wearing. The silhouette is classic and timeless, hitting perfectly at the ankle. The fabric is exactly what I want from denim: 100% cotton (no nylon), incredibly soft, and genuinely comfortable. The jeans feel lived-in from the first wear, but still looks polished—structured without being stiff, easy without ever feeling sloppy. I love them so much, I got them in white as well.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about finding that pair of jeans: the one you reach for without thinking, the one that works with everything, the one you wear on repeat because it just feels right. The Tate has become that for me—so much so, I ended up styling the same pair of jeans five days in a row, leaning into practicality and pieces I truly love wearing again and again. And honestly? I could’ve kept going.

See how I styled my new favorite jeans across five days. An added bonus: Because of the cropped fit, the Tate has been the perfect foundation for winter footwear, showcasing the shearling shoes I’ve been wearing on repeat (cozy-chic ballet flats and boat shoes that make even the most low-effort outfit feel intentional).

Day One: Easy, Bright, and Casual

I started the week in the simplest way possible: with my favorite Aritzia V-neck cashmere sweater in a bright red colorway, layered with lots of jewelry from my go-to designers—Lauren Rubinski, Brent Neale, Retrouvai, and Adina Reyter. It’s become my signature, to always layer the pieces I’ve been collecting over the years with my everyday ones to make them feel even more special. (Always wear your favorite pieces. Don’t save them for special occasions!) On my feet, my Larroudé Verona shearling ballerina flats, which have quickly become an everyday staple. Comfortable, classic, and effortless.

Day Two: A Touch of Bohemia

Feeling a little more dressed up on Tuesday, I paired the jeans with my Doên top, which always feels special without trying too hard. A long necklace added a soft bohemian feel. Once again, I reached for my Verona shearling flats—when I find something I love, I wear it on repeat, unapologetically.

Day Three: Tie-Dye Love

I’ve always been a tie-dye person, and this day was all about a cardigan I adore from The Elder Statesman. It’s an older piece, but no one does handmade tie-dye cashmere quite like he does. Same jeans, same shearling flats—further proof of just how versatile a great pair of denim can be.

Day Four: Podcast-Ready Polish

For a podcast taping, I wanted something a bit more elevated. I styled the jeans with a vintage Prada brocade jacket I found on The RealReal, and it instantly dressed things up, while still feeling very much like me. And, yes, the Verona shearling ballerina flats came along, too.

Day Five: Casual Friday, Cozy Finish

By Friday, I leaned fully into comfort: same jeans, plus my Aritzia crewneck in a boxy, relaxed fit. This time, though, a shoe switch: My Larroudé shearling boat shoes had just arrived, so I swapped them in for a fresh take to end the week.
