Stila's New Holographic Shadows Are the Stuff of Unicorn Dreams
We're seriously mesmerized.

Update 3/1/17: Back in December, we hailed Stila's new Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadows a festive holiday eye hack in a tube. Seriously, they're the best thing that ever happened to our makeup bag pre-party and we've basically defaulted to shimmery lids year-round. So imagine our delight when we learned that as of today, Stila has a slew of new *holographic* shades in the beloved formula. There's Into the Blue, a deep violet with green and blue flecks; Sunset Cove, a pinky lavender with shimmer; and Sea Siren, a lilac with light green gleam.
The iridescent hues are available on Stila.com as of today.

Original Post, 12/15/16: For high-impact metallic eyes, Stila's Magnifecent Metals Foil shadows are the gold standard—pun very much intended. But for lazy girls like us, having to mix the creamy formula with eye primer just right, then find an eye brush to blend to a gilded lid to perfection is a tall order. One that's especially hard to pull off on the go, which is our perpetual state of being these days.
Recognizing this conundrum, Stila has unveiled all-in-one liquid eye shadows that give you the same ✨it's-lit✨ look, but with more ease than ever before. Housed in a super-chic tube, the new Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadows are a blend of pearl and glitter that delivers serious shimmer and dimension, sans the risk of fallout since the glitter is sealed into its serum-like formula.

Whether you consider yourself an amateur, or just want things to be no-fuss, rest assured that the watery texture is easy to smooth on using the doe foot applicator. Apply one coat on the lids as desired, then use your finger in a tapping motion to blend out the edges. You can wear it on its own or over another shadow and—because you're wondering— it's easy enough to pull off in a cab (or in the parking lot) on the way to a function.
As far as the color range, there are 8 different holiday-party-ready shades in gorgeous variations of gold, rose gold, silver, and copper, as well as two wild cards we love: "Violet Vixen," a hot pink-purple and "Molten Midnight," a gold-and-silver-fleck black. In other words, we want to collect 'em all for the festive upcoming weeks and beyond.
