Actress and comedian Rebel Wilson has shared her own experiences with sexual misconduct in Hollywood on Twitter.

She started by writing that she's "been away in a 'bubble' of sorts creating new comedy overseas but it's so hard to hear all these stories relating to sexual harassment and assault in Hollywood," before sharing that she also has a story to tell.

She said that a male star, whom she did not identify, asked her to stick her finger "up his ass" in front of other people.

Rebel then shared another story of an uncomfortable meeting with an unidentified "top director" in a hotel room.

She wrote that she feels "lucky" she was raised in a supportive environment, and has a "strong sense of self," and that other women aren't so lucky. (Although, it should be noted that women aren't victims of sexual assault because they lack a sense of self.)

Rebel added that although she thinks her stories aren't as horrific as some other women's, she can relate on some level, and that if she ever sees something happening again, she will no longer be "polite."
