It's not often that Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston share an insight into their relationship, but the actor has opened up about how amazing their intimate wedding ceremony in 2015 was.

In an interview with ET this week, the Girl On The Train actor congratulated newlyweds Dave Franco and Alison Brie before noting how special a private, small wedding ceremony can be.

"I just found out about that, I didn't know that that had happened," he said of Franco's nuptials. "Congrats to him, good for him for making it private. It's so much more special when it's just your closest friends and family and it's lovely. [Jennifer and I] wanted it to be a peaceful environment, you don't want it to be hectic."

Theroux also spoke about how he was looking forward to stepping away from the camera to focus on his writing for a while, and that if the right moment came up, he'd love to pen a script for his wife.

"If the right thing came around I would definitely [write] it," he explained. "We toss around ideas occasionally, but it's got to be something I want to write and something she wants to act in, which is harder than you might think. But yeah, it would be fantastic if we were able to do something together."

Here's hoping.
